Getting there…

Since I’ve been back from school I have decided I needed a summer workout goal and finally decided that I wanted to be able to jog 4 miles by the end of summer. I started out with 2 miles which is alot considering I’ve never jogged before or really walked. In the beginning I was doing mostly speed walking with small jogging intervals and it took me 5o minutes to do 2 miles, which I def wasn’t happy with. But now I’m able to speed walk and jog in intervals to songs and have cut my time down to 30 minutes. Still not where I want to be but I’m determined to get the 2 miles down by the end of June so I can add another mile for July then the last mile in August before school starts back. Good news my obsession with jogging has def helped with my weight loss, just passed 5olbs lost but still have a long way to go and hopefully I will make it to my second mini goal by weigh in this Sunday! Keep your fingers crossed :)

Mini Vacation

Just got back from a mini vacation and feeling pretty good but sure that reality is right around the corner getting ready to set back in lol. Got to go up to a campground we always used to go to when I was a little kid. We had a lot of fun and I some how managed to not get sunburnt except for a little section of my elbow that I had out the window while i was driving lol! Got to go to Organ Cave in Greenbrier County, WV and take a 2.3 mile tour through it, it was pretty cool but the group we got stuck with was a bunch of “know-it-alls” and kept interupting the tour guide, so it could have been better. Then went to Beartown, WV and walked the walkways through a bunch of rock formations. Ended the day with a tour of Pearl S. Buck’s birthplace in Hillsboro, WV, which was my favorite part :) . Then spent the other 2 days messing around the campground and trying to get some writing done for my book which was an epic fail lol only got another page done and then got stuck… Grrr… Was a little bad food wise but didn’t do to bad obviously cause somehow ended up losing a pound along the way lol! Back to working out with KPop!

I have been gone for a while but i was still semi behaving and sticking with my diet but did drop off with the exercise and workout… Atleast I didn’t gain but didn’t loose either. But now I am back with a better diet and an awesome workout! Summer break is here and I don’t have my grades to worry about, since I got straight As :) I’m getting back into the groove and I jump started my weight loss again! Feels great and this is all thanks to Korean Pop lol I have recently discovered KPop and I love it! It now energizes me to get up and go for my morning and evening jog everyday! I don’t know where I would be without my Big Bang or 2PM, they make a great workout playlist and make me smile :) Anyways for everyone out there keep up the hard work! We can all get where we want, just that sometimes it’s a bit harder! Good luck to everyone! Big Bang and 2PM fighting! Kpop is love <3

Weigh-in 8

and only 8 pounds away from my mini goal! Had a pretty good week but cant wait till next week cause its Spring Break for me and feels like it has been a long time coming! It will be nice to get out and have some fun with the kids and meet up with old friends. Well hope this week has been just as good for everyone else! Buona sera!

Weigh in #7

So this will be my 7th weigh in and it will be the longest I have officially ever stuck to a diet and plan ever in my life! Wow! Well I do have to say it is not all me this time and I have had help from my Papaw who passed away this past christmas day. I promised him I would loss weight but unfortunately I never stuck with anything and went up and down constantly but he never said anything negative and was always encouraging.  After he passed away I vowed that I would stick with this until I was where I needed to be. So here I am at weigh in #7 getting close to my mini goal and 21 pounds lighter! Thanks Papaw and everyone else in my life who has encouraged me! I still have a long way to go but I know I can do it! Yay! Got back into routine…

and it feels good. Got up bright and early this morning and hit the gym. Of course I like to get over there bright and early so I miss all the preppy sorority girls… Got on the stationary bike and did 6 miles on the interval setting and 4 miles on the cross country. Then got to come back to the dorm and shower now I have to study for my make-up Italian test and go take it, then actually go to the class, and then I have the rest of the beautiful day off. Thinking about going for a walk downtown and checking out all the shops. Well hope everyone has a great day! Arrivederci!

4th weigh in

So I love the fact that I picked the weekend to be my weigh in day. The fact is the last couple of times I have been naughty on the weekend right before I have to weigh in (and it has shown) but this time I behaved and it showed! Yay! I am slowly inching closer to my mini goal and hopefully will reach it with some time and patience! Of course if I do reach my mini goal then I get a reward (other than a healthier slimmer me) I get the movie set I have had my eye but couldnt bring myself to buy cause it is a little high! But when I reach my goal hell I will have earned it! Buon giorno e buona sera a tutti!

Up and down…

So I weigh myself daily and normally there is a 1-2 pound difference a day. When I weighed myself yesterday it was up a pound which was no surprise cause I felt yucky and bloated. When I weighed myself today i was down almost 5 pounds…. I have no idea where it went and it is driving me crazy! Yesterday was even my bad day I did not do near as much as I usually do on a normal Tuesday… I have a feeling they will show back up tomorrow morning but still my body is driving me insane…. Grrr… All well I got my bitching and moaning out of the way! Thanks for reading! Buona sera a tutti!

Chinese food calling my name…. oh no it won!

So I have truely been at this whole weight lose thing for about 6 weeks but didn’t find buddyslim until 3 weeks were already past… but since I have been on this site I am a little more motivated than normal. But this weekend starting Friday I have been a bad girl, which of course affected my weigh in grrrr… figures that i do the bad things the last couple of days before weigh in.

Anyways Friday for dinner me and my roommate walked down to a chinese place downtown, because I had been craving chinese since last week! Well we got take out and walked around downtown for a little while we were waiting, which was good. But we had decided to order large of everything so it could stay in the fridge for the weekend and we could be lazy and not have to go out for the weekend and save us some money at the sametime. Well it seemed like a brilliant idea at the time. So I had ordered a large veggie fried ric and wontons, we picked up our orders and went back to the dorm and since we live in the dorm we don’t exactly have silverware or plates. So we ate out of the containers which is bad anyways cause I tend to overeat but I behaved and put it away. But the wontons got the better of me by midnight :p.

The next day my roommate left for the day and my suitemate came over and wanted to order chinese but wouldnt do it if I wouldnt order with her… So since my wontons were gone I said yes after a little begging on her part and ordered a fresh batch of wontons. After that showed up I promised I would moderate but it didn’t work out by the end of the day I had finished the wontons once again and finished my large veggie rice which had 3 servings left in it O_o

I know it is a bad idea to have food in my room because I am the type of person who likes to eat food if it is there regardless if I am hungry or not. So I vow from this day on I will not bring home leftovers, large amounts of takeout, or anything that will tempt me until I am able to control myself!

Yay!

So I don’t mind using workout dvds but I really love the stationary bikes they have at the rec center. Well in order to get to the rec center I have to take the prt over and if anyone knows what I am talking about then they know it breaks down all the time! The prt is the most unreliable transportation ever and it is even worse with the snow! But my dorm put in a exercise/lounge room on my floor in my dorm, with none other than stationary bikes! Yay! I am so happy but will still need to go to the rec but on day the prt is not running I can fall back on the exercise room here and when I get bored and want to work out I can too! I am excited! I have weigh-in tomorrow so I will be back tomorrow to tell you how it went! Arrivederci!
